Develop the leadership and management skills you need to succeed in today's complex health care environment by earning a Master of Science degree in Health Administration (MSHA) at Regis College. Our program emphasizes leadership in health policy; excellence in health care quality management, financial analysis, and informatics; and strategic management of health care organizations. A hands-on field placement in a health administration setting will cap off the final semester and help you build your professional network.
We offer a 100-hour field experience in a healthcare administration setting if you have limited experience in the health administration field. Several examples of where students have completed their field placements include:
Massachusetts General Hospital
Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers
Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association
If you have had at least two years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting, including one year in a management role, the field experience requirement may be waived, subject to the approval of the program director.
After graduating with an MSHA degree from Regis College, you will have built proficiency in areas such as business administration, law and policy, and financial and strategic management. You will be able to grow your career in:
Health Care Organizations and Networks
Health Insurance Companies
Research Facilities
Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Companies
Long-Term Care Organizations
Health Informatics Management
Public Health Programs
Government Agencies
Community-Based Organizations
