Regis College has launched a new Transfer Equivalency Self-Service Tool to help prospective transfer students determine how previously completed coursework may apply toward a degree at Regis.
“At Regis, we recognize that transfer students bring valuable academic and life experiences with them,” said Chris Lydon, vice president for undergraduate enrollment and dean of admissions. “Consistent with our mission to educate the whole person and serve the dear neighbor without distinction, this new tool is designed to make the transfer process more transparent and accessible, helping students see how their previous coursework may support their progress toward completing a degree.”
The new online tool invites students to search for courses they have taken at other colleges or universities and explore how those courses may transfer to Regis. By providing a preliminary view of possible course equivalencies, the tool helps students plan their academic pathway and make more informed decisions about continuing their education. While the results are unofficial and intended for planning purposes only, the tool offers an important first step in helping students evaluate how their past academic work may contribute to their educational goals.
Students interested in receiving an official transfer credit evaluation are encouraged to apply to Regis College and submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions. Once admitted, the university’s transfer credit team will conduct a comprehensive review of coursework and determine how credits apply to the student’s selected program of study. Students are then invited to meet with an academic advisor to plan their specific course or study at Regis.
Students can explore the new tool and begin planning their transfer pathway by visiting the Regis College website. For additional assistance, students may contact the transfer credit team at transfercredit@regiscollege.edu.
