Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN, has been selected as a 2026 Leadership Award recipient by the American Council on Education Women’s Network Massachusetts in recognition of her visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing women in higher education and beyond.
President Hays was nominated for her dedication to supporting women and promoting leadership. The award honors leaders who embody the mission and spirit of the Massachusetts ACE Women’s Network by creating measurable institutional impact and championing the advancement of women throughout their careers.
“Empowering women to lead with confidence, purpose, and integrity is central to who we are at Regis,” said Dr. Hays. “I am deeply honored to be recognized by the ACE Women’s Network Massachusetts and proud to stand alongside so many inspiring women leaders.”
President Hays will be formally recognized at the ACE International Women’s Day Breakfast & Awards celebration on Fri., Mar.13, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lowell campus of Middlesex Community College. The annual event celebrates the accomplishments of remarkable women leaders who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of women across the Commonwealth.
Under Dr. Hays’ leadership, Regis College has strengthened its mission-driven focus on access, opportunity, and leadership development, particularly for women entering high-impact fields. Her career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to mentorship, institutional growth, and fostering environments where women leaders can thrive. President Hays, who was named a Living Legend in Massachusetts Nursing by the American Nurses Association, has also guided Regis to eight straight years on The Women’s Edge’s Top 100 Women-Led Business in Massachusetts list.
