More Than a Degree

The programs and courses offered at Regis College stem from the needs of our students, their career aspirations, as well as the ever-changing workplace. We work one-on-one with students to ensure they can achieve their academic and career goals.

Students can choose from nearly 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs. Every program requires an internship, clinical, or field work experience which ensures students have the skills they need when they graduate. Opportunities for global experiences also help shape students into leaders who will have significant impact on their professions.

The Core Curriculum

Regis is focused on supporting student success. First-year students are supported through the First-Year Experience program, which emphasizes:

  • Successfully transitioning students from high school to college
  • Learning about the mission of Regis and the values of our founders, including service and community engagement
  • Fostering student-faculty connections with the First Year Experience faculty member also serving as a student’s first year academic advisor.

The remainder of our Core Curriculum focuses on providing students with the Essential Learning Outcomes in accordance with the Association of American Colleges and Universities and is in line with the Mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston and the Catholic Intellectual tradition, namely:

  • Ethical Reasoning
  • Critical Thinking and Writing
  • Oral Communication
  • Quantitative Reasoning
  • Scientific Reasoning
  • Aesthetic Thinking
  • Historical Reasoning
  • Global Thinking
