The mission of the EdD program at Regis is to educate thoughtful leaders who understand the complexities of the ever-changing educational landscape, and who can identify and address problems of practice. You will be challenged to become an informed decision-maker and reflective practitioner capable of contributing to the expansion of scholarship, learning, practice, and service.
Regis offers two concentrations within our EdD, allowing you to tailor your studies to your area of interest. These concentrations include Higher Education Leadership designed for those currently in or focused on a career in higher education, and Organizational Leadership designed for educators interested in expanding their skills across all levels of education, including K-12, as well as
training and development in other organizations.
We make earning your EdD in Leadership attainable by offering both tracks through our flexible online format. Students will meet virtually on Saturdays four times per semester, making it more convenient to continue to work full-time while completing your doctorate in 36 months. We integrate work on your dissertation into the coursework from the beginning and provide support to assist students with research requirements.
Studying on the campus of Trinity College was inspiring and a unique opportunity offered through this doctoral program. The storied campus setting and opportunity to learn about the higher education system in Dublin by actually traveling to different campuses was a once in a lifetime experience.Robert Melaragni, EdD Candidate
Before beginning in the Regis EdD program I always had a voice on my campus being an administrator. However through my time in the program the content of my voice was increased. This program truly prepared me to think deeply about issues in higher education, and gave me the tools to work on solutions. This was accomplished through the coursework, classroom discussions with faculty and other students, and through my research. The program delivers on its name: Higher Education Leadership. I am now prepared to be a senior administrator and to contribute at the highest levels.Conway Campbell, Vice President for Student Success
