A Spanish Minor at Regis helps broaden the marketability of students, particularly in the health sciences, communications, and humanities fields. The United States gains more Spanish speakers each year, making it one of the most useful languages to master. You may choose to complete the minor on campus or abroad. Students in the past have studied in Spain, Argentina, and Chile.

Required Courses

  • Prerequisite of SP 202 Intermediate Spanish (or equivalent)
  • Four courses at the 300 or 400 level or their equivalent, as determined by the department chair.
I'm grateful that I was able to complete my minor and gain a certificate before my junior year of nursing classes. It was timed perfectly and I'm going to continue traveling and practicing the language as much as I can.
