Regis College Professor Rachel Koransky-Matson, DNP, FNP-C, BC-ADM, CNE, has been awarded the 2026 American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) State Award for Outstanding Contributions.

The State Award for Outstanding Contributions honors individuals who demonstrate excellence aligned with AANP’s mission and goals across practice, education, advocacy, research, and leadership (PEARL). Dr. Koransky-Matson was recognized for her sustained efforts to advance the image, profile, and visibility of nurse practitioners at the state level.

“Dr. Koransky-Matson’s dedication to nurse practitioner education and her dedication to supporting nurse practitioner students embodies our commitment to the growth of our nursing students, both in and out of the classroom,” said Sharon Higgins, Dean of Nursing. “We are honored to have her as part of our faculty and celebrate this well-deserved recognition.”
