Dear Regis community,
The distressing rise in anti-Asian sentiment, rhetoric, and violence over the past year – underscored by the appalling shootings in Atlanta Tuesday – are fueled by ignorance and bigotry that is an affront to the mission of our university community.
As we have made clear, Regis College emphatically stands against any intolerance and acts of violence toward all communities of color.
We unequivocally support Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander students, faculty, and staff in our community. Guided by our Institutional Action Plan to Address Racism, we continue our work to uphold the values of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, by welcoming all without distinction and advocating for a more just global society.
