The following are abbreviated summaries of a few selected policies.

Policy on Sexual Harassment and Discrimination

Regis College is committed to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals can work and learn together in an atmosphere that is welcoming and supportive. Regis strongly encourages behavior that cultivates respectful relationships at every level.

As part of this commitment, Regis College seeks to maintain an environment free from sexual harassment and discrimination based on race, color, age, religion, creed, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ethnic or national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, pregnancy, veteran’s status, membership in uniformed services, or any other protected status. Unlawful sexual harassment or discrimination by a Regis College community member will not be tolerated. This policy includes, but need not be limited to, staff, managers/supervisors, directors, faculty, administrators, advisors, volunteers, and/or contractors.

Regis College takes allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination seriously and will promptly investigate allegations in an immediate, fair, and impartial manner. Individuals who sexually harass or discriminate against others in violation of this policy, regardless of whether such conduct rises to the level of unlawful sexual harassment or discrimination, may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Employees, including all faculty, staff, and student-workers, are further prohibited from unlawful sexual harassment or discrimination when representing or otherwise acting for Regis College beyond Regis College property and/or outside of normal working hours.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

Regis College is committed to maintaining an environment free of drugs and alcohol for all members of the Regis community and is committed to meeting its obligations under the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act amendment of 1989.
