Regis College is pleased to announce the appointment of Rich Kelley as vice president for finance and business, chief financial officer. Kelley joined Regis College earlier this year to serve as the associate vice president for finance and business. He will oversee the university’s strategic financial vision and business operations.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Rich in this important role,” said university President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “In his short time at Regis, Rich has already taken steps to bolster the financial strength of the institution.”
Kelley brings more than two decades of higher education finance experience to the role. He arrived at Regis College from the University of New England, where he served as associate vice president for finance and led all aspects of financial operations and administration.
“I look forward to working with President Hays and the university’s talented faculty and staff to serve the Regis community in this new role,” said Kelley. “Regis College transforms lives, developing well-rounded professionals who are ready to make an impact on the world. I am proud to contribute to this important mission.”
This year, Kelley completed the National Association of College and University Business Officers Fellows Program. He also recently served on an accreditation team for the New England Commission on Higher Education. He previously worked in the financial offices at Merrimack College, Salem State University, Tufts University, and Bentley University. Kelley earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Bentley University and an administrative management certificate from Cornell.
