Regis College announces a new partnership with Lowell Community Charter Public School (LCCPS) that provides opportunities for their employees to advance their higher education goals through the pursuit of affordable bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and professional certificates.

The partnership also extends to LCCPS the invitation to attend Regis events and lectures, use of campus facilities, and the opportunity to recruit Regis students and graduates for internships and careers.

“For nearly a century, Regis College has delivered on its commitment to increasing access to higher education for those seeking to expand their knowledge or advance in their careers,” said Regis President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “Through strategic partnerships, such as the one with Lowell Community Charter Public School, Regis is providing opportunities to build character, confidence, and careers for its employees as they discover and pursue their passions and interests. We look forward to developing this partnership to support their admirable work.”

LCCPS, founded in 2000, provides K1-8th grade education to students from Lowell and surrounding communities, representing students from 26 different nations. Often recognized for its academic excellence and focus on leadership and diversity, LCCPS reported a record-high number of applicants for the upcoming school year.

“We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with Regis on this incredible partnership,” said Robert Gignac, Chief Operating Officer of LCCPS. “It is important that we invest in our staff and faculty and provide them the chance to advance their careers while feeling supported by their workplace. We hope these opportunities break down financial barriers for them and their families to succeed and thrive.”
