New Partnership Expands Access to Affordable Undergraduate and Advanced Degrees

Regis College and North Suffolk Community Services announce a strategic partnership that will support community-based human services employees with access to Regis programs and collaboration opportunities with Regis faculty.

“Expanding access to higher education is what Regis was founded for nearly a century ago,” said Regis College President Robin L. Cautin, PhD. “Our strategic partnership with North Suffolk Community Services provides their employees with a flexible and supportive pathway to earn college credits and advance their careers while benefiting from mentorship and guidance from Regis’ experienced faculty.”

"North Suffolk Community Services is proud to partner with Regis College in an effort to create more affordable education opportunities for our employees," said President & CEO Judi Lemoine. "We are strongly committed to workforce development for all employees seeking to grow and advance. By strengthening our staff, we are strengthening the support available to those individuals and families who trust us to provide care."

This agreement offers several educational benefits to North Suffolk Community Services employees and their families, including incentives for preceptors, discounted tuition for Regis online and hybrid degree programs, a flexible transfer policy for adult degree completion, and customized academic consulting to support professional development and corporate goals. Regis and North Suffolk Community Services will continue to collaborate on clinical placements and field-based experiences for Regis students during student teaching.

Regis creates unique partnerships to provide for the needs of its partners. The strategic partnerships offer staff development opportunities through discounted tuition, customized program delivery, admission to university events, and access to a highly skilled and talented pool of Regis alums across fields such as health care and education.
