Women Who Inspire Speaker Series to Offer Career Development Workshop

Regis College will present Next Move, Best Move: Transitioning Into a Career You'll Love, a book talk and signing presented by Kimberly Brown, Founder of Manifest Yourself, on Wednesday, December 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Maria Hall Multipurpose Room on the Regis campus. The workshop will provide critical information to those seeking to successfully transition to a new career or leadership role. The event, an installment of the Regis Women Who Inspire speaker series is sponsored by the Regis Women’s Network and is free and open to the public.

The first 40 guests will receive a free copy of Brown’s book that reflects the workshop title, Next Move, Best Move: Transitioning Into a Career You'll Love. Brown is a career and leadership expert focused on empowering women and people of color to navigate the workplace, increasing earning potential and becoming leaders in their field. Her leadership development company, Manifest Yourself, LLC, provides organizations with specific solutions to engage, develop, and advance individuals. Brown has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NPR, Forbes, Blavity, MONEY Magazine, Essence Magazine, Business Insider, CNBC, Fox 5, and more. She is also on the Board of Directors for The Power of You Teens organization. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Counseling from Long Island University.

The Regis College Women’s Network (RWN), established in 2023, brings together individuals from an array of backgrounds to connect, learn and empower one another personally and professionally. A key component of the network is the Women Who Inspire Speaker Series that showcases female leaders and innovative change makers. The inaugural speakers included Alexandra Rogers '14, '15, NP, and Alexa Nicholls Costa '14, '15, NP who met while students in the Young School of Nursing then founded a successful aesthetic injectables practice called LexRx.
