Regis College today announced the dates and course offerings for its 2024 Summer Scholars Pre-College Program for rising high school juniors and seniors to experience living and on campus while earning college credits.

From July 7-26, 2024 students will have the ability to immerse themselves intellectually and socially in two academic courses as they prepare for the college experience. Affordable tuition includes two courses (six college credits), a Student Success Workshop, course materials, housing, meals, and social activities.

Students and families interested in advancing their college studies while in high school are invited to register for an upcoming information session on the Summer Scholars program: Tuesday, February 27 and Thursday, March 21, both at 7 p.m. EST.

“Regis College’s Summer Scholars program is an excellent opportunity for high school students to meet new friends and begin earning college credits while still in high school,” said Kim Rocco, Early College Programming and Outreach Coordinator. “Through this program, high school students experience living and learning on campus while preparing for the college application process.”

Students spend three weeks living on the Regis campus in residence halls, meeting new friends, and taking two college level courses: Reading, Thinking and Writing and a choice of Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Sports Management, Introduction to Criminal Justice, or Interdependence of Health Care Professions in the U.S. Students will also enjoy excursions in and around Boston.

Upon completing the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and an official Regis College Transcript reflecting their six earned credits.
