In its 2024-25 Guide to Military Friendly Schools Spring Edition, G.I. Jobs named Regis College’s graduate program the fourth best in the nation based upon the extensive services the university provides to student-Veterans and their families, and the number of classes offered online.

The university’s Center for Veteran and Military Family Services is staffed by a Veteran who knows first-hand the unique needs of Veterans and their families as they begin the application process through to graduation. At Regis, Veterans are supported in their transition to civilian life and are provided with support services such as tutoring, advising and engaging with other student-Veterans.

“As a gesture of our gratitude for their service, student-Veterans at Regis and their families are provided one-on-one services as they begin their degree program and a dedicated lounge where they may study, enjoy a meal or spend time with other Veterans taking classes at Regis,” said Director of Veterans Programs, Nick Lanier. "Through these extensive services, the university is committed to the mission of witnessing our student-Veterans earn their degree. The university and all who serve our student-Veterans are honored to be acknowledged for our extensive support services and affirms our dedication to empowering those who have served."

According to G.I. Jobs, the Military Friendly ratings are developed through a thorough review of public and proprietary data gathered through a 113- question survey and examine several factors such as academic policies and compliance; admissions and orientations; culture and commitment to serving student-Veterans; and financial aid. G.I. Jobs also reports that the review process includes an evaluation of student-Veterans’ success at the institution.

This recognition of one of several Regis has received for its unwavering support of Veterans. The university was designated a Military Friendly silver level institution in 2020-2021 and gold status for 2023-2024.
