Regis College and the Alray Scholars Program announce a strategic partnership that will support Alray staff members, board members, current students, alumni, volunteers and their families with discounted tuition rates, unique development programs, and use of the Regis campus facilities.
Alray empowers Boston students who suffered a setback during their first attempt at college to return to college, providing the tools and resources they need to overcome obstacles, earn their degrees, and attain rewarding careers.
“Regis College is proud to partner with Alray to increase higher education opportunities for its employees,” said Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “This partnership builds on our shared belief that education transforms lives and provides guidance, flexibility, and financial support needed to help students overcome barriers, complete their degrees, and advance their careers. Together, we are strengthening the workforce and enriching the Greater Boston community.”
“The Alray Scholars Program is excited to partner with Regis College on our shared commitment to supporting adult learners in college,” said Debbie Nguyen, executive director of Alray. “We are always looking for collaborators who understand and value the experiences of adult learners. This partnership will offer Alray Scholars and the rest of our community a viable pathway to achieving their education and career goals.”
This agreement outlines a collaboration between Regis and Alray offering various educational benefits. These include discounted tuition for Regis online and hybrid degree programs, a flexible transfer policy for adult degree completion, and customized academic consulting to support professional development and corporate goals.
Partners have access to Regis’ scenic Weston campus, spanning over 100 acres and featuring meeting space, a library, fine arts center with theater, auditorium and gallery, athletic facilities, and ample parking. For projects such as product development, partners also have access to Regis’ intellectual capital, including an infrastructure for joint research drawing on faculty renowned in healthcare and allied professions, and opportunities for incubator space and simulation labs.
Depending on the program, Regis partners’ employees and their family members receive tuition discounts of 10 to 25 percent. The discount is eligible for all on-campus, hybrid, onsite and online certificates, and graduate and doctoral degree programs. There is no cost to establish a partnership, but mutual commitment empowers partner employees to pursue their educational goals through the university’s exemplary academic programs.
