Students can save up to $54,000 and enter workforce sooner.
Regis College is pleased to announce the launch of a new fast track degree program that allows undergraduate students to earn their bachelor’s degree in just three years, preparing them to enter the workforce or graduate school early. Through the program, students can save a full year of tuition as well as room and board costs up to $54,000.
Designed for highly motivated students and a part of the university’s suite of Fast Track programs, the three-year bachelor’s option is offered in select majors including biology, global business management, humanities, psychology and social work. Students will join a cohort in an intensive, eight-semester program that includes online summer courses and required internships. Regis is accepting applications now for fall 2020 admission.
“Our students today are ambitious yet concerned about the rising cost of a college degree,” said Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “We’re proud to have created an option for students who want to enter the job market quickly while still enjoying the traditional university experience in a classic New England setting.”
The university developed the new program to meet the demands of many Generation Z students who view job preparation as the primary purpose of college and fear taking on debt to pay for it.
“The best decision I ever made was to earn my degree from Regis in just three years,” said Isaiah Wilson ’19, who is already working as a business development associate for a cyber security company in Manhattan. “Not only did I get a head start on my career but I enjoyed the full university experience as senior class president and a starting member of the basketball team. Regis provided me with everything I wanted in a university while putting me on the fast track to a cutting-edge career.”
The three-year degree programs are fully accredited and offer the same high academic standards as traditional four-year degrees by blending a year-round curriculum with a rigorous internship and career development program. Three-year students are able to study abroad, participate in athletics and service trips, enroll in honors programming and enjoy university clubs and activities. Students will have access to academic tutoring as well as study skills and time management coaching.
The university’s suite of Fast Track programs also includes a combined bachelor’s-to-master’s program, an accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing for non-nurse college graduates as well as an accelerated bachelor’s-to-master’s in nursing for non-nurse college graduates. The programs accept military credits for certain majors and are eligible for GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program benefits.
