Becomes first baccalaureate program in Massachusetts to be accredited

Regis College is pleased to announce that Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) baccalaureate program received accreditation for five years by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Joint Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS).

“This is very exciting as it makes Regis the first baccalaureate program in Massachusetts to be accredited,” said David Gilmore, chair of Medical Imaging. “This validation emphasizes Regis’ strong academic program that prepares students to master the knowledge and competencies in this fast-growing profession.”
