Regis College President Antoinette Hays PhD, RN, has announced three new appointments to the university’s Institutional Advancement department. The new appointments are Varounny Chanthasiri, prospect research analyst; Marsha Johnson, alumni relations and annual giving coordinator; and Victoria Maguire, assistant director of advancement communications and donor relations.
“Varounny, Marsha, and Victoria each bring unique skill sets to Regis, and they will all play a central role in engaging our alumni and donor community and furthering the strategic goals of our university’s advancement office. These three talented individuals will no doubt carry forward Regis' mission and vision,” said Vice President of Institutional Advancement Staci Shea.
At Regis, Varounny Chanthasiri identifies and researches potential prospects to expand fundraising opportunities for the university, collaborating closely with colleagues in advancement to prioritize prospect management. Varounny comes to Regis from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she worked as a prospect research analyst, collaborating on prospect identification projects. Prior to that she worked as a development research officer and donor relations officer at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research in Cambridge, Mass. Varounny received a bachelor of arts degree in social sciences with a concentration in media studies at New York University, School of Professional Studies.
Marsha Johnson works with Regis' Institutional Advancement team to plan and implement targeted programs and events for alumni and donors, with an emphasis on engaging GOLD (graduates of the last decade) alumni and current students. Marsha comes to Regis from Overture Partners in Newton, Mass., where she built relationships and helped consultants find their next career opportunities as resource manager. Before that, she worked as a human resources generalist at Boston University. Marsha earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration at Nichols College.
Victoria Maguire manages a wide range of communications and donor relations projects at Regis with a focus on the annual giving direct mail program and other fundraising communications—collaborating with the team to create print, digital, and social media appeals and campaigns to raise money for the Regis Fund and other special initiatives. Victoria comes to Regis from Lamacchia Realty in Waltham, Mass., where she worked on a variety of marketing initiatives and projects as Marketing Coordinator for the company. Prior to that, she was assistant director of alumni and friends engagement at Clark University, where she built a foundational background in alumni relations and managed the communications plans for events and engagement as well as social media. Victoria received her bachelor of science degree in marketing at Southern New Hampshire University.
