Regis College today announced a comprehensive partnership with Anna Maria College to support students impacted by Anna Maria’s closure. The agreement outlines a series of teach-out plans, transfer pathways, and student support services designed to ensure continuity and successful degree completion for Anna Maria students.

As part of the agreement, Regis will also serve as the official depository for Anna Maria College’s academic records, ensuring that former students and alumni will continue to have secure, long-term access to their transcripts and academic documentation.

“In moments like this, our responsibility as institutions of higher education is clear: to support students’ ability to complete their degree program,” said Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “Institutions like Anna Maria foster meaningful, close-knit communities, and their loss is felt across the landscape of higher education."

In accordance with state regulations, Regis College has been in active discussions with Anna Maria leadership to develop teach-out plans for students impacted by the closure. Regis is committed to providing a seamless transfer pathway so that eligible students may continue and complete their degree programs. Regis has developed teach-out plans for several academic programs currently offered at Anna Maria, ensuring that students have the opportunity to complete their undergraduate degrees at Regis.

“Students impacted by this decision should know that they are welcome at Regis College,” added President Hays. “We recognize the shared values that guide our institutions, and we are committed to continuing that spirit throughout their educational journey. Our faculty and staff stand ready to support them, to honor the work they have already accomplished, and to help them move forward with confidence and purpose. During this challenging time, the entire Regis community stands ready to support Anna Maria students and remains steadfast in our shared commitment to helping them complete their degree program.”
