President’s Lecture Series on Health to Explore the Prevalence of Obesity

The next installment of Regis College’s President’s Lecture Series on Health will feature a surgeon from Newton-Wellesley Hospital Center for Weight Loss Surgery who will present, Obesity Unmasked: Challenging Stigmas and Building Solutions. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, March 13 via Zoom.

Among the speakers include:

“Obesity and its repercussions can be a very sensitive topic; we hope to open the door toward being able to discuss body weight and its implications in a respectful, candid, and most importantly, evidence-based manner,” says Chika Anekwe, MD, MPH.

This Regis President's Lecture Series is co-sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. This free lecture has been approved by the American Nurses Association of Massachusetts to count as two contact hours.
