The next installment of Regis College’s President’s Lecture Series on Health will feature a surgeon from Newton-Wellesley Hospital Center for Weight Loss Surgery who will present, Obesity Unmasked: Challenging Stigmas and Building Solutions. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, March 13 via Zoom.
Among the speakers include:
“Obesity and its repercussions can be a very sensitive topic; we hope to open the door toward being able to discuss body weight and its implications in a respectful, candid, and most importantly, evidence-based manner,” says Chika Anekwe, MD, MPH.
This Regis President's Lecture Series is co-sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. This free lecture has been approved by the American Nurses Association of Massachusetts to count as two contact hours. American Nurses Association Massachusetts is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
