The Framingham Public Schools (FPS) and Regis College have launched a new partnership to provide FPS employees with tuition discounts on graduate programs at the university.
“Partnering with highly regarded post-secondary institutions like Regis to afford our professional staff the opportunity to continue their education, locally, presents as a wonderful venture for the Framingham Public Schools,” said Dr. Robert Tremblay, superintendent of Framingham Public Schools. “We look forward to advancing this partnership and creating more opportunities for our students and staff to continue climbing the career ladder.”
“With this new program Regis will continue its long history of preparing the educational leaders of tomorrow,” said Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “This partnership with the Framingham Public Schools guarantees that teachers can continue their education to have an even greater impact on the lives of their own students.”
With the partnership, FPS employees are now able to enroll at Regis College and receive significant discounts of up to 20 percent for certain on-campus graduate, doctoral and certificate programs and 10 percent off of fully online graduate programs across the university’s four schools in arts and sciences, business and communication, nursing, and health sciences.
Regis College has more than 1,900 graduate students enrolled on-campus and online and maintains small class sizes to optimize a student’s learning experience. Regis’ undergraduate programs serve more than a 1,000 students in 25 majors. With its extensive online programming and satellite Regis North campus in Lawrence, the university provides the flexibility that many students seek as they fit their education around jobs and family life. For FPS employees, Regis will offer hybrid courses, where they split their time attending class on campus and engaging in coursework online.
