Students from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy are now able to complete their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health services related fields at Regis College under a new partnership formed by the two institutions.
There is a total of five programs within the articulation agreement. Most of these programs are designed for Eastern Nazarene students to take graduate level courses at Regis while they are still an undergraduate student, but benefits do vary by program. The student programs include: one accelerated 16-month program for a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Health Administration, and an opportunity to receive a Master of Public Health (MPH) online.
“Partnerships are key to the future of higher education,” said Regis’ Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Malcolm Asadoorian. “Regis is proud to begin a partnership with Eastern Nazarene to allow students to continue their education in health services fields at the graduate level and work towards achieving their career goals.”
“Eastern Nazarene and Regis have similar missions, each committed to providing students with strong academic preparation while challenging them to be servant leaders in their communities. We are very pleased to expand our student offerings by partnering with Regis on a bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s level health related programs,” said Jack Connell, President of Eastern Nazarene College.
The partnership also allows Eastern Nazarene employees the opportunity to further their own education with a discount (20%) on Regis’ doctoral program in Higher Education Leadership (EdD). The mission of the EdD program at Regis is to further educate these existing leaders who understand the ever-changing environment of higher education. The participants will be challenged to become informed decision-makers, making them more capable at contributing to the expansion of scholarship, learning, practice, and service in higher education.
Regis and Eastern Nazarene are working together to identify select programs that could be offered to Regis students at Eastern Nazarene College.
