The TramutoPorter Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary by strengthening its commitment to developing compassionate leaders and expanding educational opportunities through new endowment investments supporting mission-driven organizations. Among the recipients is Regis College, which has received additional funding to expand scholarship support for students pursuing their educational goals and preparing for careers of service.

As part of the Foundation’s anniversary celebration, Regis College received an additional $400,000 in endowment support, bringing the Foundation’s total commitment to $500,000 for student scholarships. The investment builds upon a partnership that began in 2023 when Donato Tramuto served as Regis’ commencement speaker and announced the establishment of the Compassionate Leadership Scholarship for nursing students.

“At Regis, we believe leadership begins with compassion, and we are incredibly grateful to the TramutoPorter Foundation for helping to manifest that belief through the Compassionate Leadership Scholarship,” said Regis College President Robin L. Cautin, PhD. “This support has made a meaningful difference for our nursing students while advancing a broader movement centered on compassionate leadership. It reflects our shared commitment to preparing leaders who lead with their hearts, serve their communities, and make a positive impact in the world.”

The announcement was made during the TramutoPorter Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Gala, held at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine. The celebration brought together supporters, community partners, and leaders to recognize the Foundation’s quarter-century of work advancing education, health care, and humanitarian initiatives.

Health care executive and former Ogunquit Selectman Donato Tramuto established the TramutoPorter Foundation in memory of three friends who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. For 25 years, the Foundation has honored their legacy by supporting initiatives that empower individuals, cultivate compassionate leadership, and expand access to opportunities that transform lives.

At Regis, the Foundation’s continued support will help advance the College’s mission of educating students who combine academic excellence with compassion, service, and a commitment to improving the lives of others.
