Regis College has named attorney and global business leader John M. Gray, MBA, JD, to its Board of Trustees. Since 2004, Gray has served as the president and chief executive officer of Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), a national organization representing primary pharmaceutical distributors. He also serves as president and CEO of the HDA Research Foundation that fulfills the charitable, research and education priorities of the healthcare supply chain.
“I am thrilled to welcome John to the board and thank him for his dedication and commitment to our university and its students,” said Regis President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “As an experienced executive who works with Fortune 20 companies, his expertise in law and regulatory affairs will be a tremendous asset to our university as we continue to forge new partnerships with the health care industry and within the higher education landscape.”
Prior to HDA, Gray served for ten years as CEO of the International Foodservice Distributors Association and as Food Distributor International’s (FDI) executive vice president and general counsel.
He received his bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary, MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. He resides in Virginia with his wife Jean Jianos Gray, graduate of the Regis class of 1979, and three children.
