RegisteredNursing.org, a leading resource for nursing education and career advancement, ranked Regis College’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program the #1 program in Massachusetts for 2026.
RegisteredNursing.org’s annual rankings recognize nursing schools that provide comprehensive preparation for advanced degree-seeking students entering the nursing profession through accelerated programs. Programs are evaluated based on academic rigor, first-time NCLEX-RN pass rates, faculty expertise, and student outcomes.
“This recognition reflects the academic strength of our faculty, the support services we provide, and our commitment to preparing the next generation of compassionate and caring nurses to meet the health care needs of our communities,” said Dr. Sharon Higgins, DNP, NP-C, ONC, WCC, Carol A. Donovan Endowed Dean of Nursing. “Our Accelerated BSN students offer diverse backgrounds and experiences, and through this program they become compassionate and skilled clinicians ready to make a difference for their patients’ care.”
Regis College’s ABSN program, designed for students who hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, offers an opportunity to earn a degree in just 16 months. (The university also offers a 24-month ABSN program.) With clinical placements throughout Greater Boston’s leading hospitals and health care organizations, Regis students gain hands-on experience that complements rigorous classroom instruction.
