Regis has been recognized in several areas of excellence by Colleges of Distinction, showcasing the university’s dedication to exemplary academics and the undergraduate student experience.

Regis was recognized for excellence in undergraduate nursing education, career development, commitment to equity & inclusion, and excellence in transfer student support.

To earn the distinction, Regis was evaluated in four areas: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community, and successful outcomes. Colleges of Distinction conducts in-depth research and direct interviews with each institution, selecting only those whose campuses reflect a genuine, student-first philosophy.

“Today’s students are navigating a college landscape shaped by rising costs, rapid technological change, and real uncertainty about the future of work,” said Tyson Schritter, Chief Operating Officer at Colleges of Distinction. “What they need from higher education isn’t just a credential, but preparation for the world ahead. Regis College delivers that through the kind of intentional, high-impact education that equips students for whatever comes next.”

This is the second year Regis has been awarded this honor.

“This honor reflects the dedication of our faculty and staff to creating a learning environment where students are challenged academically, supported personally, and encouraged to discover their full potential,” said Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “Through meaningful mentorship, hands-on experiences, and a mission-driven education, Regis prepares graduates to lead with purpose and make a positive impact in their communities and professions.”
