CounselingPsychology.org has ranked Regis College’s Master of Arts in Counseling program among the top 5 in Massachusetts. 

The 2026-2027 ranking evaluates counseling programs across the Commonwealth based on factors including accreditation, tuition affordability, career outcomes, and flexibility for working professionals. 

“Our goal is to prepare counselors who are equipped to understand and respond to the complex needs of the individuals and communities they serve,” said Brandon Jones, PhD, LMHC, assistant professor and program director of Graduate Counseling Programs at Regis College. “Through rigorous coursework, experiential learning and supervised clinical experiences, our students develop the knowledge, skills and professional identity needed to enter the counseling profession.” 

The Regis graduate counseling program prepares students for careers in clinical mental health counseling through a curriculum grounded in empirical science, compassionate practice, and social justice advocacy. Students who complete the program and enter the workforce have achieved a 100 percent employment rate, while the program reports a 100 percent pass rate on the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination.
