Regis College has announced additional recipients of the 2025–2026 Remick Foundation Scholars Program. In addition to five students named earlier this year, the Carole Remick Foundation has awarded an additional $10,000 in scholarships to three students enrolled in the university’s new Master of Arts in Digital Marketing Communication program.

The scholarships reflect the Foundation’s mission to empower future leaders dedicated to equity, empathy, and making meaningful contributions to their communities. The 2025–2026 Remick Foundation Scholars are Jacqueline O'Rourke (Quincy, MA), Isabella Tavares (Cranston, RI), and Lilla Torontali (Lexington, MA).

“The generosity of the Carole Remick Foundation allows our students to transform their passion for communication into purpose-driven careers,” said Colleen Malachowski, PhD, Professor of Communication and Graduate Program Director at Regis. “These scholars are learning to harness the power of digital media to build connection, promote understanding, and create positive change. They reflect the Foundation’s mission and the Regis commitment to educating the whole person.”

The university’s Master of Arts in Digital Marketing Communication program prepares students to thrive in today’s dynamic, data-driven media landscape. Designed for working professionals and recent graduates, the program blends strategy, creativity, and analytics to help students master digital storytelling, social media engagement, branding, and content strategy.

“This scholarship will help me finish my final two courses while I begin my new role with the Florida State Golf Association, and I couldn’t be more thankful,” said Tavares. “Carole Remick’s message of confidence and encouragement really connects with me, and I’m excited to carry that same spirit forward in my work and career.”

“I am deeply honored to receive this scholarship, especially after having been named a Carole Remick Fellow as an undergraduate in 2022,” said Torontali. “Thank you again for your generosity and for keeping Carole Remick’s legacy alive. I am determined to make the most of this opportunity, to continue working hard, and to one day empower others as an educator, just as this scholarship has empowered me.”

“Carole's determination to embrace every opportunity that was available to her is something I also prioritize, in both my personal life and professional path,” O’Rourke. “I’ve been fortunate to study and work at a number of remarkable institutions that have shaped who I am today: Fontbonne Academy, Sacred Heart University, Milton Academy, and now Regis College. Each one has offered me unique experiences that would not have been available elsewhere, and each has reinforced the value of community, mentorship, and learning.”

The Remick Charitable Foundation states that its purpose is to “provide funding for educational opportunities that enrich the intellectual curiosity, increase confidence and connect students with limited resources in New England to life experiences and opportunities for future growth.”
