We are dedicated to helping our students define and develop their leadership qualities during their time at Regis. Whether it’s through our leadership development co-curricular courses, professional development offerings, or the over 130 leadership positions within our clubs and organizations, we are committed to the growth of our student leaders.
Each year, we celebrate the hard work of all student leaders at our annual Leadership Reception, held in April. The following awards are distributed to students, clubs and organizations, and staff members who have made a significant impact on the Regis community over the last academic year.
The Crimson and Gold Award is reserved to recognize seniors who serve as cornerstones of the Regis community. Recipients of a Crimson and Gold Tassel are selected based on their outstanding service to the university and to their class. Senior class members receive this tassel during the Baccalaureate ceremony. Recipients of this special tassel may wear it on all occasions requiring academic regalia beginning with Regis’ Commencement.
The Lynn Tripp Coleman Grace and Dedication Distinction award acknowledges the extraordinary contribution Vice President Lynn Coleman made in her 32 years of dedicated service to Regis College, and especially to the Regis students. With uncommon commitment and courage, Lynn devoted herself to Regis students: she encouraged them academically, supported their growth and involvement, was sensitive to their needs and challenged them to be the best they could be. Lynn was a role model for all who dedicated themselves to others with grace and generosity. A woman of integrity, Lynn’s desire for excellence was always tempered by gentleness. The Lynn Tripp Coleman Grace and Dedication Distinction Award is given to a Senior student at Regis who best personifies these qualities.
