Graduate Scholarship Opportunities

Graduate students in the Digital Marketing Communication program will have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. To apply for this scholarship, interested students should first visit and read the Carole Remick Foundation website.

With funding from the Carole Remick Foundation, Regis will award scholarships of up to $5,000 (based on tuition need) for the 2026-2027 academic semester. Awards will be applied directly to tuition.

Eligibility

1. Students must be in the graduate Digital Marketing Communication program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
2. The application process requires prospective students to write a 500-word essay reflecting on how their academic goals align with the overall mission of the Carole Remick Foundation. Please include your full name and Regis email with your essay submission.
3. The selected students will be required to meet monthly with Dr. Colleen Malachowski, the Carole Remick Endowed Chair, and submit a portfolio of their work for feedback.
4. Please submit your 500-word essay to Dr. Malachowski at colleen.malachowski@regiscollege.edu by August 3, 2026.
5. Scholarship recipients will be evaluated based on their academic potential, tuition need, and future career goals.

The Dr. Antoinette Hays Scholarship Fund for Nurse Educator Excellence is in recognition of President Emerita Antoinette M. Hays, PhD, RN, whose career has been defined by a commitment to nursing, education, and the preparation of future healthcare leaders.

The scholarship fund will support students enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Nurse Education track at Regis College who aspire to teach, mentor, and inspire future nurses. Scholarships of $10,000 will be awarded to selected applicants who demonstrate academic excellence, professional commitment, and dedication to the role of nurse educator.

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Education track at Regis, registered for a minimum of six credits during the award period, maintain good academic standing, and demonstrate a commitment to the nurse educator role. Applicants may not be receiving funding through the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) at the time of application.

A Graduate Assistantship gives students the unique experience of gaining valuable professional skills while benefiting from a financial aid opportunity. As a graduate assistant, you'll work as a tutor or in an entry-level capacity in one of the many departments at Regis, including Admission, Student Affairs, Health Services, the Young School of Nursing, the Autism Center, or Regis Online, to name a few. Graduate Assistantships are available to graduate students who are enrolled in a minimum of six credits within their graduate program and maintain a 3.0 GPA. There are two Graduate Assistant (GA) levels:
• 7.5 hours/week, 112.5 hours/semester: up to $2,500/semester tuition reduction
• 15 hours/week, 225 hours/semester: up to $5,000/semester tuition reduction
In order to apply to a graduate assistantship, you must first be admitted into a degree-seeking program.

A graduate Internship allows students to take on a full-time position at Regis while also completing their studies. Graduate Interns receive room and board, tuition remission for 18 credits annually, and a stipend. Graduate interns are expected to work about 30 hours per week. International graduate interns are only allowed to work up to 20-hours per week. During vacation periods, international students can work up to 30-40 hours per week. The MetroWest Health Foundation offers scholarships of up to $4,000 for students from one of the 25 towns in Boston's MetroWest enrolled in nursing, medical, or clinical programs. Scholarship applications for the fall academic term are due by May 31 at 4 p.m. (applications open in October for the spring academic term).

January 1 and September 1 deadlines
Educational scholarships are awarded to Hispanic students on a competitive basis and range from $250 to $1000. Applications are only accepted within the 45-day period prior to the deadline. That is, as of January 1 for the February 15 deadline, and September 1 for the October 15 deadline.

This scholarship helps students in Massachusetts pursue graduate-level degrees or certificates in behavioral health fields. It offers up to $12,500 per year (maximum $25,000 over two years) to support tuition, fees, and stipends for eligible students, and aims to strengthen the behavioral health workforce by encouraging students to apply their skills in high-need areas across the state. The IntelyCare™/Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts scholarship is for a student who has matriculated as a degree candidate and is enrolled either part-time or full-time in a nursing program. You must reside and/or practice in Massachusetts; must provide verification from the college or university of acceptance and/or enrollment in good standing in an accredited nursing program; and must not have been a recipient of an FNAMA or ANAMASS Scholarship or Award in the previous two years.

The Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts Joyce L. Wolf Scholarship
is for candidates pursuing a 16-18 month Accelerated Baccalaureate of Science degree in Nursing. You must reside in Massachusetts and plan to attend a MA state-approved school of nursing, and must demonstrate a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale upon application.

The Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts Scholarship to Advance Diversity in Nursing is for a student who has matriculated as a degree candidate and is enrolled either part-time or full-time in a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree program in nursing accredited by NLN-AC or CCNE. Sandra Reissour was a founding member of the American Nurses Association Massachusetts, and also volunteered for many years with nurses in continuing education. This scholarship is to be given to a nurse who exemplifies dedication to nursing continuing education. Sigma Foundation for Nursing provides grants up to US $5,000 to encourage nurses to contribute to the advancement of nursing through research. Allocation of funds is based on the quality of the proposed research, the future promise of the applicant, and the applicant's research budget. Applications from novice researchers who have received no other national research funds are encouraged. Preference will be given to Sigma members, other qualifications being equal. To increase the number of qualified nursing faculty to facilitate education of the nurses needed to address the nursing workforce shortage, the NFLP program offers partial loan forgiveness for borrowers that are accepted into a DNP program and graduate and serve as full time nursing faculty for a specific period of time. The loan recipients may cancel 85% of the loan over four years in return for serving full time as faculty in any accredited school of nursing. The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (MLCHC) is excited to introduce two new phases of the MA Repay program that can significantly benefit students and alumni working as nurses in the primary care and behavioral health fields: the MassHealth Primary Care Student Loan Repayment Program and the MassHealth Behavioral Health Student Loan Repayment Program. Created in partnership with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, these initiatives are designed to alleviate the financial burdens of educational debt for health care professionals committed to serving MassHealth members and/or uninsured individuals in Massachusetts’ communities.
Eligible professionals who commit to working full-time for a four-year service commitment in community-based settings that serve at least 40% MassHealth and/or uninsured patients can receive student loan repayment awards. Primary care professionals' awards range from up to $50,000 for advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants, and up to $100,000 for primary care physicians. Behavioral health professionals can be awarded up to $30,000 for licensed behavioral health clinicians with a bachelor’s degree, up to $50,000 for licensed or pre-licensed clinicians with a master’s degree or higher, and up to $300,000 for psychiatrists and nurse practitioners with prescribing privileges.
