Higher education is a commitment on the part of both the student and his or her family. Alternative financing options can help families pay costs not covered by financial aid. The Office of Financial Aid will work with families to assist them in determining the best combination of options.
Regis offers the option to make tuition payments on a monthly basis through Nelnet. The Nelnet payment plan is an interest-free alternative to lump-sum payments at bill time. There is an annual enrollment fee. Students may sign up for a payment plan through Hub. Further information may be obtained from the Center for Student Services at 781.768.7270. You may also call Nelnet at 800.722.4867.
There are a variety of banks and private lenders who offer alternative education loans for undergraduate students and their families. Regis has a formal process to review the alternative student loan offerings of the major lenders. Based on this review, we have chosen the lenders below who offer a variety of benefits to the borrowers. Be assured that Regis receives no benefits, financial or otherwise, from the lenders presented on the list. Regis staff are prohibited from recommending a lender; however, we provide resources to assist in the decision-making process.
Lenders offer private loan programs with various rates, fees, repayment terms and approval requirements. We suggest that you carefully review each program to compare the terms and conditions before deciding which alternative loan may be appropriate for your needs.
