What is the Lorraine's Leaders program at Regis College?

Lorraine Tegan's beloved alma mater of Regis College has long been a beneficiary of her family’s generosity and support. To continue to advance Lorraine’s passion for education, and her long-term efforts to support students pursuing college education, Regis has created the Lorraine DeStefano Tegan ‘63 Leaders (Lorraine’s Leaders) program, to recognize and support rising high school juniors and seniors from New Heights Charter School of Brockton who seek to pursue a college degree as a first generation student with a particular interest in health care or the sciences.

  • Empowers students with the knowledge and tools they need to be accepted into college.
  • Provides intensive college counseling and an on-ground campus experience for high school students to engage in an experiential lab, obtain college credit, and immerse themselves in college campuses.
  • Includes a residential experience on Regis’ Weston campus, college coaching, as well as transportation to and from college campuses Monday through Friday over the duration of the program.

Program Dates: June 26 through July 28, 2023

Program Cost: Free

Accepted students will receive a stipend for successful completion of the program.
