Lorraine Tegan's beloved alma mater of Regis College has long been a beneficiary of her family’s generosity and support. To continue to advance Lorraine’s passion for education, and her long-term efforts to support students pursuing college education, Regis has created the Lorraine DeStefano Tegan ‘63 Leaders (Lorraine’s Leaders) program, to recognize and support rising high school juniors and seniors from New Heights Charter School of Brockton and Cardinal Spellman High School who seek to pursue a college degree as a first generation student with a particular interest in health care or the sciences.
Program Dates: July 8 – August 9, 2024
Residential Campus Stay: Move In, July 28 – Move Out, August 9
Program Cost: Free
Accepted students will receive a stipend for successful completion of the program.
Program Format: All academic course work, labs, and college preparation will take place on campus. Regis will provide daily transportation to and from New Heights Charter School of Brockton. During the residential stay, students will continue with their daily schedule while experiencing college life while exposed to the campus environment, inclusive of academics, dining, community living, and athletics. This program is designed for students to spend full two weeks (including the weekend) on campus.
Applicants must be a rising junior or senior at New Heights Charter School of Brockton or Cardinal Spellman High School by Summer 2024.
