Welcome to Regis, and thank you for being a preceptor to a Regis College Nursing student. My name is Cassandra Godzik, and I'm the Associate Dean for Graduate Online Nursing at Regis College. The Young School of Nursing at Regis is nationally recognized as a center of excellence in nursing education and offers specialized programs for nursing students at all levels of their careers, from undergraduate to doctoral.

Preceptors like you are vital to helping our students transition their didactic learning to direct patient care, at a time when experienced health care practitioners are needed more than ever. Being a preceptor comes with benefits, yet we fully understand the demands of clinical practice, and appreciate your willingness to participate in this important teaching role.

To thank you for your time and effort, preceptors receive course vouchers for every 240 hours they serve, which can be used to enroll in any online Weston campus or hybrid graduate or undergraduate Regis College course. You also have the option of gifting this voucher to a friend or colleague. And once the preceptorship is complete, you can add the title of visiting clinical instructor to your CV.

As the landscape of the world's intricate health care system and policies continue to change, the need has never been greater for highly proficient and forward-thinking nurses. Thank you once again for your time and effort to develop the next generation of nurses. Our staff and faculty are here at any time to help support you in your role as a preceptor, so please get in touch with any of us with questions. We look forward to working with you.
