In this section of the orientation, you will learn about the purpose of Regis’ nurse practitioner program, explore the role of the nurse practitioner, and dive into adult learning theory and resources.
The Master of Science Nurse Practitioner program is constantly evolving to prepare students to meet the complex needs of the healthcare industry. Our program builds on baccalaureate education as the appropriate foundation for graduate education in nursing, and equips working nurses with the relevant knowledge, skills, and experience needed to assume leadership positions in healthcare.
Students practice in our state-of-the art simulation labs before going out to clinicals in hospitals and healthcare facilities, where they take the hands-on experiences from the classroom and apply it in real-world situations.
The MSN-NP Program offers several entry points for students to earn their degree through on-campus, online, and accelerated learning options. Upon graduation, our students are fully equipped to be advanced practice nurses. The graduate nursing Program also provides the foundation for further studies in the Doctor of Nursing Practice or other doctoral-level programs, should students choose to continue their studies.
