The early childhood program focuses on pre-kindergarten through the second grade. Aligned with best practices for early childhood, this program focuses on preparing teacher candidates to educate the whole child. Teacher candidates will engage in opportunities to nurture healthy and safe children, while addressing their academic, social and emotional needs in a supportive and challenging environment.

The early childhood certification program focuses on the infant-toddler through preschool ages. The certification program combines theoretical coursework with practical experiences at the onsite Regis Children's Center. Through the application of this program students are prepared to teach and direct in private early childhood settings. Early childhood education non-licensure.

To be eligible to teach in public schools, educators must earn a license from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) by passing all required Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) exams.
