What an extraordinary evening last night at the 10th annual Let It Shine Gala! The amazing Regis community made this year's event such a memorable celebration of our students and the transformative power of a Regis education. It was an honor to recognize Dr. Jim O'Connell whose life's work exemplifies compassion, service, and social justice.
My deepest thanks to everyone who helped us raise critical funds in support of student scholarships—opening doors and creating pathways for our students to achieve their dreams. I am grateful to serve alongside such a dedicated and inspiring community.

Thank you to State Representatives Alice Peisch and Christopher Worrell for visiting with the Regis community today to discuss why college students should care about politics, a nonpartisan, thoughtful conversation about how politics and public policy shape daily life and why civic engagement matters. The event encouraged meaningful reflection on the importance of participation in public life and how civic involvement aligns with Regis’ mission to prepare students to serve and lead with purpose.

The Regis in Haiti project presented certificates to graduates of the simulation and preceptor program. A critical component of the initiative, funded by the Wagner Foundation, is faculty development in preceptorship, equipping nursing faculty with the tools to mentor, guide, and evaluate nursing students more effectively. By strengthening the ability of faculty to serve as role models and clinical mentors, the project is reinforcing a culture of professional excellence and accountability in nursing education. This mentorship model ensures that nursing students receive consistent, high-quality guidance throughout their training, which is essential to producing graduates who are well-prepared to transition into professional practice.
