My experience at Regis College has been incredibly meaningful and rewarding, due to the professors who are deeply passionate about their work and do their utmost best to demonstrate that enthusiasm in every course. Having such supportive professors who recognize my potential and consistently offer constructive feedback and guidance made a significant difference in my academic progress. The academic foundation I have gained at Regis College, paired with the hands-on experience from my current role as a research Intern, has helped me gain a better understanding of my interests and goals for the future. These experiences have reinforced my desire to pursue a career that focuses on improving access to healthcare services for those classified as underprivileged. These have prepared me to move forward with clarity and confidence.Loveth Johnson '26
My experience at Regis has been the most meaningful part of my entire educational journey. Coming into the program as an older student and a single mom, I wasn’t sure how I would balance graduate-level work with everything already on my plate. However, Regis and my program's preceptors have not only helped lead me, but also met me exactly where I was and pushed me further than I thought I could go.Leah Loreaux '26
Being in the field of cancer screening, I sought an education that not only provided me with theory but also helped me make a tangible impact. One example came from a policy assignment that helped me re-evaluate screening barriers in underserved communities. I applied that project directly in my work, and it changed the way I approach conversations with physicians, FQHC leaders, and health-system partners. It gave me a clearer way to frame equity gaps and to create solutions that are realistic and measurable.
Regis didn’t just prepare me for life after graduation; it strengthened my confidence, sharpened my purpose, and showed me that no matter your age, your responsibilities, or your path, it’s never too late to excel.
My experience at Regis has played an integral role in my growth as a public health practitioner and in preparing me for life after graduation and my future endeavors in the field. The MPH program curriculum, faculty support, and hands-on opportunities created a strong foundation of public health competencies while also helping me learn to apply that knowledge in a real-world setting—particularly in underserved and multicultural communities. These experiences have influenced me as a professional in many ways, shaping both my confidence and competence as I enter the next phase of my career.Adolis Estevez Ramos '26
I am positive that my Regis experience has equipped me for the journey I want to be on and to have an impact in the underserved multicultural communities I aim to serve.
