The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is for students from a wide variety of academic and work backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing or advancing a career in the health field.
Students in the BS completion programs must complete institutional requirements.
This program is designed for students who have successfully completed an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program or related degree at a community college. The curriculum is designed to meet the pre-requisite courses for the OT program not covered as part of an OTA program. Students who have completed an associate’s degree in another area of study will be considered for entry into the program, but could need additional prerequisites. All students must meet the admission criteria for the MS in OT prior to being accepted into the graduate program.
This program is for any student with an AS degree interested in pursuing an MS in SLP. This program is not currently a direct entry into the SLP Program and is dependent upon space in the MS program. All students applying for the SLP Program must meet posted admission criteria.
This program is designed for students who have successfully completed a PTA program at a community college. The curriculum is designed to meet the standard prerequisite courses for a DPT program not covered as part of a PTA program. Students who have completed an associate’s degree in another area of study will be considered for entry into the program, but could need additional prerequisites. Students may utilize the Pre-Health Professions advisor for assistance with applying to DPT programs. Every DPT program is slightly different in its requirements; therefore, students should check their desired program for any courses necessary beyond this curriculum.

Once the CPL assessment is completed, which aligns with the best practices of the Council on the Assessment of Experiential Learning (CAEL), our team will confirm how many credits can be transferred and credited towards your degree completion goal. All credit awarded for prior learning is considered transfer credit.
Pre-requisite courses from previous education will be reviewed with the admission application and transcripts to determine additional course requirements for the program. Transfer credits cannot be applied to core courses.
Students accepted into a program and taking six credits are eligible to apply for financial aid. Convenient payment plans are available. Please note that all charges and fees are set by the Board of Trustees and are subject to change at any time.
