BS in Health Sciences Degree Completion (OTA to OT Prep Track)

Do you have an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field and aspire to become an Occupational Therapist? The BS in Health Sciences OT preparation track may be the right program for you. This program will result in a bachelor’s degree and includes the prerequisites necessary to prepare you for entry into a Master of Science in OT program. You can continue working as an OTA while taking courses such as Kinesiology, Intro to Neuroscience, and Medical Terminology, or jump into the program full-time and complete it in 24 months or less. Gain the skills and knowledge you need to advance your current career or progress to a graduate program.

Health Sciences Degree Completion (Speech-Language Pathology Prep Track)

The first step on the road to pursuing a career in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is to complete a bachelor’s degree, including the necessary prerequisites for entry into a Master of Science in SLP. BS in Health Sciences Degree Completion (PTA to DPT Prep Track)

Do you have an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy or a related field/degree and desire to become a Physical Therapist? The BS in Health Sciences with a DPT preparation track may be the right program for you. This bachelor’s degree program includes most prerequisites necessary to prepare you for entry into a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Graduate with a bachelor’s degree while gaining the additional background you need to further your career in physical therapy.

* These courses incorporate the most common prerequisites for DPT programs. Individual programs may have one or two additional classes. Students should double-check specific graduate program requirements.

** Students must attain a grade of C or higher on prerequisite courses as outlined in the DPT program entry requirements and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

Most DPT programs also require that Anatomy and Physiology I and II be completed within a certain timeframe of applying to a graduate program (usually 10 years). Therefore, if someone has been practicing as a PTA for several years, the individual might also need to retake BI 105 and BI 106
