Use of any Regis technology, software, or information resource constitutes acceptance of the following agreement:

As a student, employee, contractor, or authorized user of Regis College, I am provided access to computers, networks, internet services, data, and other technology and information resources to support the university's educational, administrative, and operational activities. I understand that these resources are provided for legitimate academic, administrative, and business purposes and must be used in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and policies of Regis College.

I agree to use all Regis College technology and information resources responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Specifically, I agree to the following:

  1. I will not attempt to access password-protected systems, accounts, or resources for which I have not been granted authorization.
  2. I will not share my passwords, personal identification numbers (PINs), or other authentication credentials with anyone. I understand that I am responsible for all activity conducted under my accounts and will take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  3. I will not access personal, confidential, or restricted information unless I have been specifically authorized to do so. I will respect the privacy and confidentiality rights of others.
  4. I will not disclose, distribute, or misuse confidential or proprietary information.
  5. I will not impersonate another individual, misrepresent my identity, or otherwise engage in deceptive activities while using Regis College technology resources.
  6. I will not use Regis College technology or information resources to harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, discriminate against, or otherwise harm any individual, organization, or entity, whether within or outside the Regis College community.
  7. I will comply with all applicable copyright laws, licensing agreements, and intellectual property requirements governing software, electronic resources, printed materials, multimedia content, and other technology resources provided, licensed, or purchased by Regis College.
  8. I will not create, install, distribute, or transmit malicious software, including viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code. I will not engage in activities that disrupt, impair, overload, or compromise Regis College systems, networks, or services, including the distribution of unauthorized mass communications.
  9. I will not use Regis College technology resources to access, create, store, display, or distribute content that is obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with university policies. Determinations regarding prohibited content shall be made by the university in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Acknowledgment and Enforcement
By accessing or using Regis College technology and information resources, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to comply with this agreement and all related university policies.

Violations of this agreement may result in the suspension or revocation of technology access privileges, disciplinary action up to and including probation, suspension, dismissal, termination of employment, or other appropriate corrective measures. Individuals may also be required to reimburse the university for costs incurred as a result of misuse or damage to university resources. In addition, violations may result in civil or criminal liability where applicable.

Suspected violations should be reported to the appropriate university authorities, including the Regis College Police Chief or the Information Technology department, as appropriate.
