Best known for acclaimed works such as Team of Rivals and Leadership in Turbulent Times, Goodwin draws on decades of historical research to examine leadership and provide historical context for current-day events. The Elliott Lecture series is named for the late Patricia D. Elliott, PhD, Regis English professor, thanks to her generous bequest to Regis.
