Application Deadlines

The following are the Priority and Preferred Deadlines. Admission will be rolling on a space available basis following these dates.

Fall Semester

  • Priority: March 15
  • Preferred: April 15

Spring Semester

  • Priority: October 15
  • Preferred: December 15

Admission Requirements

In order to qualify for admission, students must have completed most or all of their doctoral coursework. Regis will expect applicants to submit the materials below and meet these criteria prior to consideration:

  1.  Undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  2. Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  3. Two or more letters of recommendation written by academic or professional references
  4. A dissertation proposal or draft, which will serve as a writing sample, which demonstrates the candidate’s thorough comprehension of the issue/topic they intend to investigate including:
    1. The purpose of the study
    2. The theoretical framework guiding the study
    3. The proposed methodology of the study
    4. A detailed plan for conducting the research including data collection and analysis
  5. A personal statement that represents the applicants academic and professional goals and includes a reflective assessment of the barriers that have prevented them from completing their dissertation and a comprehensive plan on how to overcome these hinderances
  6. A professional vitae or resume
  7. An interview, Phase II of the EdD application process, with EdD department to evaluate each student’s individual research and oral presentation skills

Financial Aid and Graduate Loans

To be eligible for financial aid, you must be fully accepted into the EdD ABD program and enrolled in at least six credits. If you have not received an acceptance letter, or have not yet applied to a graduate program, please contact the Office of Graduate Admission at 781.768.7330 or graduatedepartment@regiscollege.edu. If you have received an acceptance letter, you can contact the Office of Financial Aid at 781.768.7270 or finaid@regiscollege.edu. A monthly payment plan can be established to pay tuition in installments over a semester or academic year.
