The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-to-BS) Degree Completion program at Regis College is designed for the associate's degree or diploma nurse or the registered nurse who wishes to continue their education for professional and personal growth. The student will earn a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing. This curriculum track also provides a foundation for master's-level study in nursing. Registered nurses who have earned a non-nursing bachelor's degree should consider applying to the RN to MS Nursing Bridge program.
The program is known for it's flexible, online format and for not having a clinical component.
The RN-to-BS program can be completed in as few as 12 months. It is important that you meet with your faculty advisor upon acceptance into the program in order to develop your personal curriculum plan, as the sequencing of courses can impact the time it takes you to complete the program.
We invite you to download the RN to BS flyer to review the required curriculum and prerequisites, and to hear what a student has to say about their experience!
Not only does a BSN help you further and develop your critical thinking and evidence-based practice skills, it also is what hospitals and collegiate programs will look for should you plan to continue on with your master’s or doctorate. I have attended a number of universities throughout my journey, but none of them have really helped me to succeed the way Regis has. I am constantly blown away by the support that continues to be offered to me here. The relationships with my professors that I have cultivated is by far the most valuable piece of my program. I can tell how passionate they are about their roles as my educator and our overall field. It’s inspiring to me as someone who is also interested in becoming a nursing educator one day.Molly Greenwood, DNP ’23
