As the name implies, the RN to BSN Degree Completion program is designed to help current RNs improve on existing credentials to complete a BS in Nursing. Our program gives you credit for existing nursing education work and allows you to complete just the coursework you’re missing to earn your BSN. In fact, you can finish in about 12 months.

While the RN to BSN program is intended for people who hold an associate's degree and RN license, we also have options for those without a nursing background.
- 16-Month Accelerated BSN: This program is designed for people who hold a bachelor’s degree in a subject other than nursing to bridge the skills and earn their BSN.
- 24-Month Accelerated BSN: This slower-based program features the same curriculum as the 16-month degree, but it blends online coursework with in-person labs and clinicals.

A streamlined path for your future in nursing
Our online RN to BSN Degree Completion program is designed to help you complete your bachelor’s-level education and take your next steps in nursing. The core nursing curriculum comprises 30 credit hours and can be completed in as few as 12 months of study. Courses take either eight weeks or 16 weeks to complete, and some may be undertaken simultaneously.
Please note that your curriculum requirements will be determined by your previous experience. You may transfer up to 90 credit hours into this program, including 45 granted for your associate's degree and RN license and an additional 45 for general education coursework from a previous degree program. Your advisor will work with you to determine any additional coursework needed to graduate.

Here’s what you need to apply
The general application requirements for our online RN to BSN program are:
- Associate's degree in nursing with a minimum GPA of 2.7
- Current resume
- Relevant transcripts
- 6 months of RN experience preferred
Note: You must also complete courses in statistics and religion if you didn’t complete them as part of your associate curriculum.
