Chastity Bowick will focus on her individual journey and experiences as an African American transgender woman, including a discussion of the evolution of her advocacy work and the ways in which people can be better allies to members of the transgender community. This is a Liberal Arts Lecture presented in partnership with the Women Studies Program.

Speaker Bio

Chastity Bowick is a civil rights leader, transgender health advocate, and Director of the Transgender Emergency Fund.
