What

The annual Regis Christmas Concert will include music from Russia, Puerto Rico, Ukraine, and in African-American and Native-American traditions, as well as favorites such as “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” and Mel Tormé’s “The Christmas Song.”

“Regis has many dedicated and gifted musicians on campus to help people feel the holiday joy,” said Heather Josselyn-Cranson, associate professor of Music and Humanities. “Our students have been working hard all semester to prepare music in a variety of styles and languages to spread the Christmas spirit through a musical journey telling the story of Christ’s birth.”

The Christmas concert is hosted by the Regis Alumni Chorus and features the Regis Glee Singers, Chamber Singers, Handbell Choir, and Instrumental Ensemble. Not to be missed this year is a selection of carols sung by preschoolers from the Regis Children’s Center. The Merry Mingle intermission, hosted by the office of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations, will include treats, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, mingling, and more.
