Regis College will require all students, faculty, and staff who are eligible to have a COVID-19 booster by February 1.

The fall semester at Regis is off to a great start. Below is some helpful information about the on-campus testing process and how the campus community continues to #ProtectThePride.

Regis College President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN, hosted a university-wide town hall on Tuesday, August 10, to discuss the university’s fall opening plans and provide important updates to Regis’ COVID-19 response.

With the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts recently announcing significant changes to COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations, the light at the end of the tunnel continues to get brighter.

In preparation for a full in-person return to our Weston campus for the fall 2021 semester, all students, faculty, and staff who will live, learn, and work on campus or who will participate in Regis in-person activities are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Monday, August 16, 2021.

Every day I meet with leaders from across the university and with colleagues from other institutions to review the latest information about COVID-19 and its impact nationally and locally. At this point in the summer, we had hoped the infection rates would be lower and we might have a respite from a surge until later in the fall or winter.

Protecting the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff prompted us to make the decision to cancel outside competition this fall.
