    About

    Dr. Fardy is a certified community and public health clinical nurse specialist with advanced subspecialty training in pediatric and neonatal epidemiology, infection control and clinical epidemiology, environmental health, global health, health economics and policy, and healthcare improvement science. A certified clinical research professional, Dr. Fardy’s clinical research expertise includes pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices, with special interests in vulnerable populations, translational science, policy analysis, and global bioethics. The NU 340 and 640 Community Health Nursing course coordinator, Dr. Fardy’s most recent professional experience includes the following: Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, Regis College-St. George’s University Global Nursing Initiative, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts House of Representatives, Regis College Peru Solidarity Trip, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Special Olympics Massachusetts, Center for Environmental Health Sciences at Dartmouth, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University Hospitals of Cincinnati, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Department of Public Health, University Hospitals Case Medical Center, and the Sleep and Epidemiology Research Center at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
