The Regis College Graduate Hooding Ceremony is an intimate celebration for graduates receiving a Masters or Doctoral degree. It is held during the week of Commencement, and graduates generally attend both events. There will be a reception for graduates and their guests immediately following the Hooding Ceremony.

What is Hooding?

The hoods awarded during the Hooding Ceremony symbolize the graduate’s school, degree and field of study through their length and colors of the lining and binding. All Regis hoods are lined with crimson and gold, and the velvet trimming on the hood indicates each student’s field of study:

  • Master of Arts - White
  • Master of Science – Golden Yellow
  • Doctor of Education – Light Blue
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice – Apricot

Please RSVP for Graduate Hooding no later than May 1st, 2019. There is a limit of six guests per student, tickets are not required.
